My area of specialty in philosophy is in normative and applied ethics. In particular, I have been most involved with medical ethics. I have an area of concentration in law and morality, and healthcare law.
Within medical ethics, I have the most experience teaching end-of-life ethics, and I'm interested in expanding my scholarship to include issues in moral distress, particularly as it applies to nursing.
Most recently, I've begun studying topics in aging and social justice as I prepare to teach more courses in this emerging area.
